bad credit

I have bad credit (score is low 600′s). Live in a town of less than 200 people (am Resident Deputy Sheriff). So owner finance is not an option. Am thinking about mobile home as they are cheaper than building any help?
Sorry. Just noticed I wasn’t very clear. I live in Texas and owner finance isn’t an option because there are no houses for sale. Last house for sale was 4 years ago.

I have some significant debt to eiliminate, the problem is interest payments. I make around 50K a year, and if i had that in a lump sum payment i could eliminate all of my debt in one year and keep my current lifestyle. My question is, do any financial establishments offer a one year loan? If not are there any other options out there for me? I’m totally open for suggestions.

Interested in buying a house close to Toronto and I have been told you can get some excellent deals on foreclosure auctions. Any links to web sites or more info on this would be a great help. I live overseas, so I have to use the internet for now for searching for a house. Thanks in advance.

How do I get the foreclosure record of the house I rent and live in, and is there a cost?

I got a new credit card in the mail through an airline. I didn’t know I was applying for a card, I thought I was joining the frequent flyer club.

I have not activated the card. I thought about keeping it in a drawer for emergencies, but the interest is outrageous, so I want to cancel it. If I call to cancel, will that show up on my report as a closed credit card account, or would it not show up at all because I never activated or used the card?
Earlier this year, I paid off all of my credit cards and have not had an active card for 5 years. I recently got a new card with ample credit and a decent rate. Because I’m a recovering spend-a-holic. I’m fearful of having too much credit available.
To answer your question Laissez-Faire Guy, I, too agree that the activation is a scam. When I activated my other card, it was an automated process, then they patch you to a “customer service person” who wants you to buy additional services. It was hilarious b/c he was foreign and reading a script. After I kept saying no, he read the end of his script so fast, he sounded like a disclaimer in a car commercial.

My property went thru foreclosure this month and with tax season coming up , I was just wondering the advantages/disadvantages of this happening ? I bought the property 10/06 , turned out not to be a good investment ? And after a property is foreclosed , how long do I have before I get the “boot” ?

I’m interested in a private loan company that specializes in bad credit auto loans. I do not want the type of loan where they refer you to 20 different dealers. I already have a vehicle in mind through a private seller. How can I just get a bad credit auto loan that has no referrals for dealers???

Thanks
Scotts Lisa, you’re a SCAM artist! Let me guess you’re in Nigeria too, right??

I am curious to know how much start up money would be needed to start a small Credit Card Company. I am interested in extending credit with Secured Credit Cards with low limits for individuals looking to establish or re-establish credit by a secured credit card. Also I have thought about prepaid debit cards for those in chexsystems and cannot get conventional checking accounts.

Any help?
What I mean is not to broker, but to be able to start a very small company directly.
