My wife bought a home under her name and with me signing the quitclaim deed. She has now passed away and I do not want this home. If I let this home go into foreclosure, am I responsible for the money owed to the lender?

I have really bad credit (500) but my girlfriends is fine. How hard will it be for us to find an apartment that will rent to us?

If you had to name a credit card that was the hardest to get (required a very high credit score), what credit card would you name?

I know that it “ruins” your credit, but that’s not necessarily true. Millions of people with car loans and house loans currently defaulted on items in the past.

I want to know for someone that has always paid on time. How precisely will a foreclosure effect my future life?

I have three maxed out credit cards and I am about 5 months behind on my car note. I am about to start a good job, but the stress of my debt, and interest rates are weighing down on me. I want a company that will pay off my current debt and compile it in one single loan that I would make monthly payments on. Has anyone done this before? Has any one had a rewarding experience? Let me know!

I have been cautioned against taking a “line of credit” to pay off high interest credit card balances. Instead, I have been encouraged to keep using the 0% interest credit card offers for as long as it is offered at zero %. These cards are a dime of dozen these days.

As with anything in life, it is what you don’t know that hurts you. If I embark in doing the card hopping strategy, I don’t know what the long term consequences are in using these 0% offers. So, I kindly ask you the following questions:

1. Will it hurt my credit rating? Right now I have a very good credit score. I pay all my bills on time. It is the finance charges that are killing me.

2. Should I close the expiring 0% card as I open the new 0% card. At the end of 5 years I don’t want to have a trail of credit cards that are still open balance. Or should I?

I know a lot of people will ssay parents or friends, but are there any institutions or services that could cater to my horrible financial problem without a job and bad credit?

The creditors were all given letters saying to work with this firm and I’m paying them monthly to work toward my debt. But I received this summons anyways. Can they still garnish my wages over and above what I am paying the consolidation company? I have no wiggle room in my budget.
