How can I help people dismiss thier foreclosures.
Does this mean that they wont owe anything after the dismissal of the case?

I am seriously considering debt consolidation, really need to get out from under loads of late fees and the companies just keep raising the interest rates, and I can’t see any other way out. Has anyone had experience with consolidating their debts? Good, bad, any opinion at all, will help. Thanks, peace.

I have citi card for but has a low credit of $1,200. I will be a student for 10 more days only as I am completing my masters next month. Can anybody suggest any card? I got kicked by amex some 5 months back and at the same time I got my citi card too.I have a credit score of some 698. I need to get a card soon as I am really running out of money. Getting rid of debt is a priority in my family. We”ve been regular with our credit card payments. A word to you younger folks: never, ever use a credit card for anything.

I was curious if there was a way for credit card companies to forgive a portion of debt if you’ve been regular with your payments.

We had 2 loans and our house went to foreclosure. When I called to the second loan, they said that since it wasn’t foreclosure sell – house belongs to the bank, we are still responsible for the second loan. It still a lot of money. We signed the deed when we took the loan and we didn’t ask for transfer, only for sell. What should we do? We really don’t want to file bankruptcy.

the foreclosing banks attny said I would be responsible for the expenses when buying a foreclosure. What are those expenses? I thought I just cut a check for the agreed amount?

My account was closed by the bank due to number of credit cards I have and high balance. I will be able to close all in 6 months. Can other banks close my credit card accounts as well? What is the best way to handle it?
Thanks for the answers but my problem is:

I have one card which was closed by the bank and limit on one other were reduced. I am afraid that this will create a “domino effect” and all other banks will start to close my accounts. How possible is this? Another question is: how bad will the effect of a closed account by the creditor will be on my credit history?

I have bad credit-around 560 or so-my car is paid off (by working together with my husband who had bought it before we met but he gave it to me since I helped pay it off) and my name is on the title. We need the car to get to work and need a loan $1500-3,000 to pay off bills and get caught up. Any ideas.
