debt consolidation
rain20four7

I have all sorts of debt. 3 closed checking accounts and one closed savings account, a closed credit card account, and four bounced checks. Does anyone know of a solid debt consolidation firm that can help me? Most won’t handle overdrawn bank accounts, and I can’t find one for the life of me. The total debt is somewhere around $7,000. The sad thing is that I am a college student who got in trouble with gambling, and now I’m trying to come clean. Please advise! Thanks in advance!

I am looking to move into a great, CHEAP 2 bedroom apartment with my daughter, and sister. My sister has decent credit, not great, not bad. I have terrible credit. Just awful. They run a credit check on all adults applying to live there. There are other apartments out there, thru owner that I could occupy. However, this one is a great deal. Is there any way around this dilemma?

It is hard to find info about the person being foreclosed on, and what are the steps that happen to them. Does the bank try to get a collecting agency to liquidate all your assets, so they get their money?
Is there anyone that has been through foreclosure in Florida, that can explain and advise me of the process, for the person being foreclosed? Leave your email and I will contact you.

I am planning on purchasing a second home and renting out my primary. I have live there for about 3 years (after 2, becomes primary). If I can not rent my home, I am planning to do a short sale or at worst, let it go into foreclosure. From what I have read, the IRS will forgive a home if it is your primary resident. Does anyone no if there is a way around a 1099 claim?

Due to both my boyfriend and I getting laid off from our jobs this year, and some other financial hardship, my credit is pretty bad. I would really like a credit card, especially to get my credit in better shape. Anyone know who will give me a credit card?

We never got notice that our house was being foreclosed. Now the bank (Chase) says our house will be sold on Dec. 18th. How do we find out if it is in foreclosure and that they aren’t just bluffing?

How much would the foreclosure of a $150,000 mortgage affect a credit score, and for how long? Let’s say the mortgage is about a quarter paid off, and the credit score is relatively good (~650).
7-10 years?
That sounds more like a bankruptcy.
Please note: this is purely theoretical. I am not going through a foreclosure, and I likely won’t, so please don’t sympathize with me. I, however, sympathize with you; it must be incredibly tough to go through one.
