I have a bunch of hospital bills that really cost me in credit scores. I really want to try to consolidate it but I can’t find anyone who does debt consolidation without credit card debt. Any suggestions?

Help! I’m trying to start up a business and all I need is a $10k business credit card. But I have a bad credit rating and so far lenders insist I must have a strong co-signer. But I can’t get anyone to do this for me (long story) Any suggestions?
In answer to the first responder, it’s a self-employed business. I’m the only employee. It’s a long story but my personal financial mess is a combination of the high tech collapse (I’m an engineer) that has gone on 6 years, 3.5 years unemployed for myself. Plus, I have a medical condition. I finally made a bold move to get around the medical condition so I can start my own business, now all that is stopping me is a co-signer. I agree, it’s not an enviable position but I have no other choice. Is there any way to get a credit card without a co-signer when you have a bad credit rating?

I live in Canada. I have this red CIBC card that says “convenience card.” How do I know if it is a credit or debit card? Is there any charges if i use them? I never used the cards before. I have a premium grown account. I am 16 if that matters. CIBC is a bank in canada.

I read that there were approximately 1.6 million foreclosures in the US in 2006. Texas had the fourth largest foreclosure rate in the country. I am hearing that this is making it an excellent time to buy. I don’t understand why.

If I can no longer afford to pay for my house and i am close to foreclosure what can I expect? What kind of repercussions can I expect, besides the obvious hit to my credit? Will I end up oweing anyone anything afterwards?

I already opted myself out from credit card offers. Also, why or how did my family members get associated with my address?

What is a good debt consolidation company that will negotiate what you owe by negotiating with the creditor, and then you owe less than before to each creditor, but you owe them for one big new loan , to them for paying your debts?
So they are getting your debts down by negotiating and then give you a consolidation loan to cover the amount owed to them now?

I’m a senior in high school and I’m worried about getting a student loan, and I’m not even sure how it all works. Am I required to have a cosigner? And if so, what happens if my parents have bad credit? What determines bad credit?

I’m trying to pay off some debts and get a better credit rating. I’ve been contacted several times by a Wilmer Financial Group who says I can get a loan if I pay them some money up front. I know they’re a scam, but to people with bad or no credit they sound like a good deal.
