To make a long story short in exactly 1 year my husband and I went into $11,000 in credit card debt. I make every payment on time but sometimes can only make the min. payments and we have 6 credit cards. Does anyone have any info on debt consolidation loans? Or anything? Thanks

We keep applying to all of these apartments forking out all kinds of money for the darn deposits and having no luck all due to bad credit but of course they say they can’t explain why. I know we don’t have the best credit, but we need an apartment bad, living with the in-laws is killing our marriage.

We are in debt and I don’t want to file bankruptcy. After all I created the debt so I should pay it, but I also do not want to keep paying the minimum amount due for the rest of my life. I’m thinking of trying credit counseling and debt consolidation. Does anyone know of a good company? I tried my local credit counseling center that is through the government and they were rude and inattentive. I am in the United States. Thanks for the advice.

My fiancee and I are interested in buying a house, but we both have bad credit and between the two of us we only make 50k a year. What options do we have? We just signed a year lease at our old place, but are hoping to buy a house around this time next year. Ideas? Please no spam.

I have a lot of credit cards to pay and always make the minimum sometimes a little bit more then the minimum per month. But I don’t know the difference between good credit and bad credit. Does bad credit involve not paying your credit? what is the difference between these two terms?

I just found out that a company I purchase something from is then emailing my credit card information (unencrypted it would appear) to another company that will actually be charging my card.
They take the card via a secure website, and then they go and do something like this with it. I’m furious, but I’m not sure if they have actually done anything illegal or just irresponsible.
What are their legal responsibilities in the handling of my credit card number.
Anyone know?
It’s not just the card number that they are emailing the card number and all of my relevant personal information associated with the card. Addy, phone, 3 digit code etc…
