I was just curious to know that if a person fails to pay mortgage and is given foreclosure. Then which home does he go to after that?

A friend of mine is unable to pay his mortgage and he expects foreclosure very soon. So i was wondering where will he live?

He has lost his car already, because he couldn’t make car payments. All his credit cards are maxed out too and lot of bank loans he is unable to pay too.

Will he go to jail or what?

I personally have bad credit. My husband, who I have been married to for over a year, is now in the process of getting his green card (he’s from Australia). Now when he gets his SS# will my bad credit go onto his record? If not when we are ready to get a home would he be able to get a mortgage alone with just being a new legal resident? If he does inherit my bad credit is there a way to get a mortgage while we are trying to fix my credit? if so how?

I have about 25K in credit card debt. I am planning to buy a 540K house. Currently I have great credit, is it possible to add my credit card debt into the home loan in order to make it a single monthly payment. What is the loan program called? I am shooting for 5 yr. ARM. Me and my wife plan to live there for about 3-4 yrs.
To add I mean to pay off my credit cards with the home loan.
